The "Ponte dei salti", also known as the "Roman Bridge", crosses the Verzasca River at Lavertezzo. It is a stone bridge with two arches, built in the Middle Ages. After the partial destruction in 1868, it was rebuilt in 1960. Nearby is a chapel from the 18th century.
The Verzasca Valley offers various bathing and swimming opportunities. The most famous river ponds are located in Lavertezzo and Brione Verzasca. The most popular diving spots are the "Pozzo della Misura" and the "Pozzo dei Salti". However, the river with its crystal clear and emerald green water can also hold dangers. Therefore, please pay attention to the signs on site.
