The Säntis

At 2501.9 meters above sea level, Säntis is the highest mountain in Alpstein (eastern Switzerland). Due to the exposed, north-facing position of the Alpstein, the mountain is a landmark visible from far away. For example, there are houses with the name Säntisblick in the Black Forest or on the Swabian Alb. From the Säntis summit you can see into six countries: Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, France and Italy.
